All About Cass

Although I own an online store selling clothes, I do not splurge on clothes for my girls and myself as and when I fancy, albeit most times I will be really tempted to do so.  This I have to give credit to my dad and mom on training me how to be frugal since young :)   Some of my suppliers dress their kids up in new clothes almost everyday.  They keep a piece of every apparel design for their kids before selling them.   I wonder if their kids have the chance to wear so many clothes.   At home, my kids don on old clothes, sometimes in rags like a hobo as they said rags are more comfortable to wear!

In fact, it is me who often ask my girls if they would like to have new clothes by showing them the photo of the apparel from my supplier's website. Most of the time, they will say "NAH, no thanks"

Just the other day, I asked Cass if she would like to have some of those pretty dinner dresses and this was her reply to me "it's OK. I am worried that if you keep buying me clothes, you will go BANKRUPT mummy.  You save the money ok!"

Bankrupt?  Can I even go bankrupt buying clothes? LOL!

Cass is pretty matured and logical in her thoughts. Sometimes she shocks me with how  well thought  her reasoning is.

After less than a year of lessons from a new swimming coach, Cass can now swim pretty well. She has finally gotten rid of her phobia of breathing in the water.

I bring her swimming 2-3 times a week. I would love for her to swim everyday but she has other  activities and tuition on other days.  Swimming can strengthen her muscles and studies have shown that daily swimming of 30 minutes can help to treat incontinence.  The only downside from swimming so often in the afternoon is that she now spots a permanent tan on her skin... the healthy looking kind of tan that is! ;)

Cassandra's Second Swimming Lesson

Cass attended her 2nd swimming lesson yesterday.   The first time she attended the lesson was in early February 2013.  Due to the CNY break, rainy season and having to take turns to attend swimming lessons with Sherilyn,  Cass is only attending her 2nd lesson a month later. The teacher can only focus on teaching 2 kids at a time. So Sherilyn and Cass have to take turns attending the once-weekly lesson on an alternate week basis. Alycia who is a much better swimmer and does not need the teacher to focus so much on her can swim on her own and can attend the lesson every week.

She was taught how to breath under the water and the teacher made Cass 'swim' towards him and back to the side of the pool. I think after a few more lessons, my water baby should be able to swim :)

Alycia And Sherilyn Are Learning Swimming

Aly and Sher are finally learning swimming....TODAY! And they are really excited and happy about it. Sher is so excited that she would not even want to take her nap.... and this is ticking mah mah off coz we all know that she will be really crabby by dinner time and wouldn't want to eat her dinner if she skips her nap. She's walking round the house now and has been asking me what time it is now for the umpteenth time. For the past 7 months since we moved here, Aly and Sher could only watch with envy from the 5th floor of our condo whenever the instructor teaches the Japanese kids swimming. Now, they are one of his students. This man gives private swimming lessons to kids at condos and schools. And the good thing is he doesn't charge exorbitantly. He is charging us RM25 per child for half an hour once a week. Today the instructor wants to try Aly and Sher out to see how well or poorly they fare in the water. I better wake Aly up from her nap now and get the gals ready. The instructor is already at the pool teaching the Japanese kids swimming now.
