Do You Buy Books Or Borrow Them?

We used to invest quite a bit on books for our girls. However, I stopped buying books recently in order to cut cost. Now, I borrow books from the library in our church and this library is awesome with so many titles to choose from!

Do you buy books for your kids or do you borrow them from the library?

BOTH! Well, let me clarify..I buy a lot from thrift stores and garage sales which I understand is not possible in Msia (my one and only original vintage Chanel outfit cost CAD25!!). So, I buy books secondhand too..sometimes paperbacks are 4 for CAD1. Kid u not. Of course we borrowed tons of books from the library. That teaches the kids responsiblity to respect books, not to throw them around, share with other kids etc. Of course for b-days and what-not, we always had books as part of the gifts. Now of course books are electronic but I still like the feel of the book in my hands.
