Cordless Phone

We used to have a cordless phone in our house but the phone drove us bonkers. The reception was always not clear and the line broke up most of the time when we were engaged in a phone conversation. I’ve replaced the cordless phone with a conventional Telekom cord phone a few months ago but it’s so inconvenient using a cord phone as we cannot move around in the house whilst talking on the phone. I’m thinking of switching back to a cordless phone. My friend has advised me to get a good quality battery-operated cordless phone and she told me that I can get my cordless phone battery online from Interstate Batteries.com. Now, can anyone tell me which brand of battery-operated cordless phone is good?
