No Time To Blog
It's time for my lunch now. My CL has cooked turmeric chicken, papaya soup with pork ribs and peanuts and a stir-fried vege. After lunch, it's back to work on my computer. That's why my weight just can't go down coz I've been so sedentary lately. Oooh, just can't wait for 2 months to pass coz that's when I can start exercising again.

What I Really Want To Do On Mother's Day
Ok, so what do I really want to do on Mother's Day? Like Elaine, mine are just fantasies. First, I'd really like hubby to care for my 2 older girls the entire day - bathe them, brush their teeth, wash their bum, feed them, coach them in their homework, put them to sleep, etc while I go shopping and get myself some new clothes for my new figure now, go to the nail saloon for a manicure and pedicure and to the spa for a good full-body massage. Then, I'd like to have a nice dinner in the hotel or in a classy restaurant with hubby and my 3 girls.
Well, I think the last wish of having a nice dinner may be granted but the rest will just be wishful thinking.
Not tagging anyone this time. I better go to sleep now as Baby C will wake up for her milkie again in an hour's time. Oh yes, forgot to mention, I wish I could sleep in till 10am on Mother's Day without anyone disturbing me.
Our Sunday
When I was choosing the baby sling at Baby Loft, the lady boss asked me when I was due!! Oh gosh, I tell you, my heart was crushed. Do I look like I am still pregnant? I am still rather skinny everywhere else but my belly looks really pathetic, like I am still 3-4 months pregnant. I just can't wait to start my daily running sessions and exercise on my fitball again. I hope no one would ask me if I am expecting again.
Sherilyn enjoying her udon (minus all the meat and vege) with chopsticks.
While Alycia enjoyed her rice, maki, cod fish and beef.

Meltdown
This confinement of mine is the least like a confinement. My mil has not been feeling well and is feeling dizzy all the time lately. So ends up, I have to care for my 3 kids full time. The Chinese believe that a lady in confinement is not supposed to touch tap water (for this will cause wind to enter the body, which in return will cause body aches) but heck, I have been touching tap water the day I was discharged from the hospital. Both Alycia and Sher had high fever 2 weeks ago and last week, Sher had yeast infection and ring worm on her body. I think my maid must have not been too clean handling her during my stay in the hospital.

Sher's favorite meltdown time - when she's just woken up from her afternoon nap. She would resist having her diaper removed and would just whine and bawl on the floor.... which drives me bonkers.

Confinement Food

That's what I had for lunch yesterday :

Stir-fried vege and a papaya soup with chicken. At the rate I am eating now, my weight will surely go up and up. As it is now, my weight has already shot up by 1kg to 48kg, which means I have 4kg to shed to reach my pre-pregnancy weight. It is only through exercise that I can shed the last few stubborn pounds.

Soup, Milk And Red Dates Water The Whole Day

On top of soup, I drink 2 big flasks of red dates, black dates, 'tong sum' (a kind of herbs) and kei chee water everyday. In addition, I also drink 3-4 glasses of milk with Milo everyday. So can you imagine me having to rush to the loo to pee every hour of the day and night?
Did you drink as much soup, milk and red dates water too during your confinement?

Baby C @ Day 20.... And She Smiled At Me Today!

That's my cutie pie at day 20 (2 days ago). Baby C is beginning to recognize my voice (I hope) and this morning, she gave me the sweetest voluntary smile (not the involuntary smile during baby's sleep) when I talked to her. My heart melted, just like it did when Alycia and Sherilyn gave me their first voluntary smile.
I tell you, I am really so in love with Baby C!

I Am So So Sick Of My CL
I suspect it's her stupid method of wiping baby in the evening which made bb feeling a tad under the weather. Many times, she had forgotten to wipe Baby C until I reminded her at around 7pm. And when she wiped Baby C, she left the fan blowing at full blast until I saw it and turned it off. This old lady is also as stubborn as an ass. Who is she to choose what baby is to wear to sleep at night? For her convenience sake, she vehemently refused to let Baby C wear long rompers to sleep at night. Her lame excuse is that it is hard for her to see the buttons at night. So she let Baby C wear short sleeved onesie and wrapped her up in a nappy. When I commented about it, she put on a long sleeve pjs over the short sleeved onesie..... Baby C was sweating in the 2 layers of clothes and 1 layer of tight bundling in the nappy.
This old lady is so damn lazy that she is even lazy to wear her eye glasses. She can't really see well without her glasses and many times Baby C's bum still has poop on it because she can't see properly. In the end who suffers? Me.... coz I have to stand next to her and tell her what to do and tell her which part still has poop. Sometimes I even wipe baby's bum myself. Once, she even spilled gravy all over me because she can't see well without her glasses! Hiring her is really one of my biggest mistakes.
You know how she double boils chicken essence? She pours my unfinished red dates water into the chicken essence!! Which makes me suspicious that she had finished my chicken essence and then poured in the unfinished overnight red dates water to it. Oh my goodness, I am so so stressed up with that sickening old lady. 10 more days, 10 more days to go before I can send her off!! And I have to pay her RM100 a day! Makes me so sick thinking of her now. Forgive me Lord for bad mouthing her but I really can't tolerate her anymore. I hope I won't go into depression because of her. I can only blame myself for making a wrong decision for hiring her and not firing her in the first place.

How I Love My Urut Session
Alycia and Baby C
She must have recognized Alycia cheh cheh's voice. However after a while, the smile turned into agitation and Baby C cried! Cheh Cheh's stroke must have been too rough on her. The 2 proud cheh chehs with Baby C. Alycia and Sherilyn really adore their new baby sister and they just can't keep their hands from stroking Baby C's head and from kissing her face, head, legs and everywhere!

Confinement Food
'Mui Choi kai' (braised chicken with dried vegetables) and stir-fried celery with sliced pork.
Today, my CL boiled papaya soup again, this time with chicken. I still do not see an increase in my milk supply. Hopefully it will flow out superfluously in the days to come, esp. after my P-I-T-N CL leaves in 2 weeks' time.

Baby C @ Day 15 And Day 16

and day 16. Read more about her here.

New Baby Monitor

I have been wanting to buy a new baby monitor to place in the kids' room at night so that I can monitor and hear Sherilyn when she cries and pukes. Hubby finally got a new Chicco baby monitor 2 weeks ago.
A few nights ago, I left Baby C alone in the room upstairs for a few minutes. Before I went downstairs, I turned on the baby monitor. When my CL went into the room, she fed Baby C with formula milk. When I went upstairs, I asked her why she fed the baby with formula and she lied to me that the baby was crying. I then told her that I did not hear the baby's cries donwstairs as the monitor was turned on. She was really taken aback and asked me what the gadget was and I told her it's a monitor to trace baby's cries. She was shocked and did not say a word.
My instruction to her was that I will breastfeed Baby C before going to bed and that she is to bring Baby C to me throughout the night for nursing when she cries. But that lady wanted to have a good night's sleep and fed Baby C with formula. What a pain in the neck that lady brings me everyday!
