Video Of Baby C Giggling

Last night I finally managed to capture on video Baby C giggling when she saw the picture of her 2 sisters on the computer. I had actually captured her on video giggling loudly 2 days ago but when I downloaded it, my maid's laughter and voice overshadowed Baby C's. All that I could hear was my maid laughing and talking loudly... haiz, she spoilt the entire video.

Baby C And Alycia Cheh Cheh

Here's Alycia doing her homework in my bedroom. Eversince we lent our baby cot to one of our relatives, we have been unable to put Baby C into the cot and let her watch TV in the bedroom while I have my shower. So I now get Alycia to entertain her baby sister in my bedroom while I have my shower. The sight of Alycia and Sherilyn never fails to put a smile on baby's face. Alycia and Sherilyn don't have to do much to entertain Baby C. Baby C will self entertain herself and giggle by herself just by looking at her 2 cheh chehs play and talk. Baby finds her 2 cheh chehs really entertaining, amusing her with their antics, laughs and sometimes ruckus.

Dinner At Iketeru @ Hilton Sentral Hotel

We had a pretty late check-in at Hilton Sentral Hotel KL on Friday night, at around 9ish pm. After checking in, we went to Iketeru Japanese Restaurant, a fine dine Japanese restaurant with beautiful interior and landscape and great food. After a big hoo ha over no short pants allowed into the restaurant on a week day, we finally got in. You see, when the hubs made the reservation earlier, he wasn't informed by the reservations staff of the hotel about the no short pants dress code on week days. It's clearly the fault of the hotel for not informing us.

Anyway after the big hoo ha, we finally got inside and ordered our food. Since there were only 2 adults dining, we got a 50% rebate off the total bill as the hubs is a member of the Hilton Privilege Club. It's a rare occasion that we got to eat together, just the both of us. So the hubs ordered a delectable, sumptuous set consisting of:

Appetizer consisting of baby lobster (in yellow cup), scallops, Edamame beans and can't tell what that brown meat is in that little blue plate...

A sumptuous stir-fried lobster...

Sushi...

Sashimi....

Kobe beef, one of the world's most expensive beef...

Clear soup served in a Japanese teapot and cup set....

And black sesame ice-cream with fruit cocktail as dessert.

It was a very sumptuous dinner but I didn't eat much since I already had my dinner at home earlier. Total bill was close to RM400 before the 50% rebate.

Pictures of her 2 doting cheh chehs! I kid you not. When I was looking at the pix of Alycia and Sherilyn taken at Disneyland HK on my PC this afternoon, Baby C who was having her porridge saw the pix and she burst out in loud giggles and said "cheh cheh" while pointing to the PC!! Those giggles were so sweet and cute, as if someone was tickling her. My sweetiepie never fails to giggle whenever she sees pix of her 2 cheh cheh on the PC. I must try to capture her giggling on video one day!

Dreaming To Wear My 2-Piece Swim Suit Again

One of the things that I have to buy is a new swim suit since I now have the luxury to swim everyday. I have a 2-piece sexy swim suit but I have not worn it for more than 6 years. I used to wear it before I had any kids. I don’t have the confidence to wear it now though I'd very much love to as I no longer have a flat belly to flaunt but only stretch marks that I need to hide! Perhaps after a couple sessions of microdermabrasion when my stretch marks are gone, I will have the confidence to slip into a 2-piece swim suit again. Do I have any regrets what my 3 pregnancies have caused to my figure? Absolutely no! When I look at how beautiful my 3 angels are, I tell myself that they are worth all the pain and sufferings that I had gone through.

My sweetiepie giving me one of her sweetest smiles.

I Need A Laptop

When Baby C goes for a surgery next month, I will stay with her in the hospital. If all goes well without any complication, she can be discharged after 3 nights stay and that’s what I am praying for. I hate hospital stays. It’s darn boring, depressing and it makes me miss home and my 2 older girls terribly. When Baby C was hospitalized during her first UTI attack and was warded for 3 nights, I stayed at the hospital with her. My days spent at the hospital bored me to the core. If only I had a notebook computer, I would surely bring it along with me to the hospital to help me kill my blues. I am still contemplating buying a notebook computer but with opps from advertisers being slashed down drastically now, my earnings have also dipped badly. I guess my purchase of a laptop would have to be put on hold again.

Baby C And Her Sunnies

The other day, daddy bought sweetiepie a pair of cute sunnies from Mothercare. My sweetiepie will surely remove anything that we put on her head from hair bands to hair clips but if we put a pair of sunnies on her, she would gladly wear them and give us her sweetest smile.

Our sweetiepie doesn't have to fight with Sherilyn cheh cheh for her Paris Hilton sunnies anymore coz she has her very own pair of stylo mylo sunnies now.

What A Small, Small World!

I got a very pleasant surprise at the hospital this morning. After arriving at my pediatric nephrologist's clinic, a lady who doesn't look familiar to me at all came up to me and asked me as she pointed to my sweetiepie "is she Baby Cassandra?" I said yes and for a moment, I was trying my best to recall who that lady was. Her face didn't register in my brain at all. I then asked who she was and she said she's Claudia and Marcus' mum. But I was still struggling to remember who she was. When she said I'm Mrs Wallace, a-ha, I then remembered that she's one of the blogger mums. Mrs Wallace is a Malaysian mum married to an OZ hubby and they live in OZ. They are now back for a holiday. I haven't been visiting her blog for quite some time and have even forgotten to enter her blog URL in my blogroll.

I was really surprised that Mrs Wallace could recognize Baby C coz my sweetiepie was asleep in my arms. I guess Mrs Wallace recognized my sweetiepie's thick hair coz very seldom you see babies with thick hair right? Anyway, it was really a pleasant meeting with Mrs Wallace and her 2 lovely kids. Her baby, Marcus is less than 6 months but oh boy is he chubby! Jeles only seeing other people's babies who are younger than Baby C but weighs more than her!

Our Thursday

We spent almost the whole morning and afternoon at the hospital today. Baby C went for a MAG 3 scan today to have the function of her kidneys evaluated. While waiting for the doctor to prepare the MAG 3 scan report, we went to an Indian restaurant across the hospital for lunch. This is what we ate:

Indian rojak, fish curry, murtabak, veggie, ayam masak merah, vadai and a hot mug of sugar-free teh-C tarik which is my all-time favorite beverage (not in picture) and hubby had nasi briyani (not in picture).

Cool and refreshing mango lassi.

While we ate our lunch, Baby C was still in a deep sleep in my arms as the sedation meds had not worn off yet. As I am typing this post, she's still alseep and she's been sleeping the whole day!

Go check out my health blog to find out what happened at the hospital today and to view pix of the MAG 3 scan.

My Super Vain Pot

My #2 has a fetish with hair clips and hair accessories. Just like her mummy who is very fastidious with her hair, Sherilyn has to have her hair tied up and clipped up everyday, the whole day, from the moment she wakes up to the moment she goes to bed at night. Sometimes she even sleeps with her hair tied up and clipped up. Lately, she is spending much of her time in my bedroom, rummaging through my drawers and hogging my hair clips... to the point of not wanting to return the hair clips to me!

My vain pot hogging on to my hair clip on her hair!

Alycia And Sherilyn Have Gone To Hong Kong

Finally Alycia and Sherilyn have gone to Hong Kong with my mil. Hubby and I together with Baby C and our maid sent them off to the airport this afternoon. The house is now so quiet and peaceful without Alycia and Sherilyn. Did I just say peaceful without them? I feel bad, really bad to have this feeling but I feel a big load off my shoulder, a big stress off my mind. Nevertheless, I do miss them and keep thinking about them. It's just that I am enjoying my new found freedom and boy I tell you, I love the peace and quietness in the house.... no need to hear whining, crying and complaints, no need to yell at Sherilyn and tell her 100 times just to do a single task, etc. I've got activities lined up everyday from tomorrow till Monday next week. Must make full use of the extra time that I have now since it's a golden opportunity that I can be relieved of my responsibilities over Alycia and Sherilyn.

Quick check out Sinma to get hair accessories, costume jewelries and other accessories for you or your daughter!

I got 2 hair bandanas, a glittering hair pin, a hair clip, a 'diamond' hair band and some black hair clips for Alycia (for her to tie bun for her ballet class).

Kids Ask The Darnest Things

Sherilyn the menace is cheeky, chatty and really inquisitive. From dawn till dusk, you will hear her yakking away. Most times, she will whine and demand for everything under the sky, some of the things that she requests are really ridiculous. When she's in an inquisitive mood, she will ask me questions like these:

1) Where does bread come from? My answer to her was bread is made from wheat flour, eggs and milk. A simple answer. Didn't say yeast, otherwise she will ask me yeast is made from what and beats me, I don't know!
2) Where does dragon fruit come from? My answer to her was dragon fruits grow on trees.
3) Where does cheese come from? My answer to her was cheese is made from milk.
4) Where does water come from? My answer to her was water is from rivers and from rain.
5) Where does paper come from? My answer to her was they are made from trees.
6) Where does seaweed come from? My answer to her was seaweed are from the sea. She then went on to ask who takes the seaweed. This one I stumbled coz I wasn't really sure who takes the seaweed from the sea! Boo to mummy!

etc, etc, etc......

I am pretty certain Sherilyn will surely ask me "mummy, I come from where?" one day. I have to start thinking of an appropriate answer for her now lol!

Darn Those Mozzies

Though my house is fitted with mosquite net, the darn smart pesky mozzies could still find their way in to the house... whenever the slidding nettings are inevitably left opened or when we open the door. Those darn mozzies had bitten my poor sweetiepie and now she has 5 really huge swollen mozzie bite marks on her hands and legs like this:

I am so waiting to zap those darn mozzies with my electronic mozzie racquet zapper or smash them hard with my hands. I will be looking for them with vengeance.....

Baby C is enjoying her black sesame bread at Canton-I today. Check out our Sunday here.

My Sweetiepie A Parrot

My sweetiepie has been trying to immitate many words that we say lately. Yesterday evening, my mil asked Alycia to make a phone call. My mil said out loudly "chit chiu phat phat...." (seven nine eight eight in Mandarin) several times to Alycia but Alycia didn't quite remember what the digits were in Mandarin and I had to translate them into English for her. Baby C who was seated on her high chair having her porridge was observing both my mil and her cheh cheh. After hearing a few times "chit chiu phat phat", Baby C uttered "phat phat". When I heard that, I laughed and said clever girl to her.... and my sweetiepie gave me her sweetest and proudest smile. My sweetiepie seems to love people praising her and would always try to do things that please us.

Alycia's Turn To Be Down With A Cold

First it was Sherilyn who caught the cold bug from pre-school, then I caught it, my mil who returned from HK also got bitten in HK, next my sil and her son, then Alycia and now it's my turn AGAIN. I'm so sick of falling sick again and having my girls taking turns falling sick. Alycia skipped school today and she will also skip her ballet class later. Her nose is dribbling non-stop with watery goo goo and she's also coughing. This afternoon after her milk, she ran round the house chasing and playing with Sherilyn. Minutes later, she puked big time on my mil's mattress and on her bolster and everywhere in the bedroom floorx. Eewwww.... it was really messy and stinky. Now the 2 girls can't sleep with their mah mah in her room tonight. Later I must try to trick Alycia into drinking the fresh olives soup double boiled with lean pork that my mil has made. This heong har cough remedy is really effective. Read more about it in my health blog.

Seeing Our Nephrologist Today

I'm now waiting for hubby to come and pick us up to go to the hospital. There's some bacteria in Baby C's pee again, NOT AGAIN, sigh..... Even our nephrologist would shake her head and let out a sigh each time she hears that Baby C has another UTI attack. Today we will discuss with her about the MAG3 scan and hopefully we can have it done on Baby C next week. I just want the surgery and everything to be over and done with soonest possible. I am praying that Baby C can celebrate her first birthday in good health next month.

My Pepper Spray 'Backfired' And I Was The Victim

Hubby bought me this pepper spray a few years back and I have been carrying this with me each time I go jogging. So far, I've not really used the pepper spray to ward off perpetrators. I would however test the spray once in a while to see if it still works. Well, I now know that it works perfectly well coz the other day, it 'backfired'. That fateful morning, I saw a pack of dogs from a distance. I quickly took out my pepper spray and tested it. After I had jogged past the dog without any incidence, I put the pepper spray back into my pocket. The next minute, I felt a stinging sensation on my nostrils. The stinging sensation gradually became burning. I had rubbed my nose with the same hand that I used to hold the pepper spray. The liquid didn't even come in contact with my hand yet my nose was 'burning'! I think whoever gets in direct contact with the liquid pepper would go blind or be in severe pain coz the liquid is frigging hot and burning! The burning sensation on my nose and nostrils was really unbearable. My eyes and nose were watery and I felt as though I had inhaled a big spoon of chilli powder. I immediately jogged back to my condo and made a mad dash to the washroom at the lobby and washed my face and nose. Wuah, the contact of water on my face and nose was such a relief. I spent a good 10 minutes washing my face in the toilet, afterwhich I continued jogging. For the next 1 hour, my nose was numb, as if I was given an anesthetic on it!
