My mil is a good cook. In under an hour, she can turn these simple veggies and chicken:

into these dishes:

steamed chicken,

stir-fried yellow bell pepper with long beans and fresh mushrooms,

Stir-fried eggplants with minced chicken meat and fermented soy beans and organic bitter gourd omelette.
Whenever my mil is around, we can have dinner at 6:30pm but when she's away, we only get to eat dinner at 8pm!
