AAARRRRGGGGHHH SHARKS.... mosquitoes!! That's what Alycia will say whenever she sees mosquitoes flying in the house. And here's why we hate those buzzing pests...
Huge mozzie bite marks on Baby's hands, legs, nose, face and forehead.
Sherilyn's face was badly attacked by those vicious mozzies. Both her upper and lower eyelids were attacked and her eyes are now swollen. She now looks like an abused child with a swollen face... picture isn't taken as she had refused for her pic to be snapped by the blogger paparazzi haaha!
My girls have sensitive skin and once they get bitten by the mozzies, the bite marks will 'expand' and swell up. With intense scratching, the skin will break and scars will form.

I normally use, and still keep a bottle of Angel Baby Earth Mama Bottom Balm in the kids' bag at all times. Any insect/mosq bite, or cuts, quickly apply and it will lessen the swell/itchness. You can get this from Bebehaus (1U or Plaza Damas)
oh i hate those darn mozzies too. every morning when ash comes downstairs and every evening, i would put the mozzie repellant balm all over her limbs. if one day i forget, she will be bitten :(
apply lucas paw paw ointment immediately or if that doesn't work, dettol antiseptic. has to be applied asap before they start scratching or it'll get itchier n swell up
oh dear....indeed the bites look very red. Have to use those organic mozzie repellents perhaps?
OUCH!! I have found that hand sanitizers are very good for taking away the itchiness and swelling. Stings a bit when applying. Maybe ice the area first. Also, regular toothpaste is great on bites...learned that from camping. Toothpaste also a great cleanser for scuff marks and jewellery.
i think most kids have very sensitive skin, my girl always end up with really huge swollen marks too.
lucas paw paw helps and i bought the electronic repellent to clip on her clothes too.
A simple alcohol swab works great too. It's the mosquito saliva that causes the reaction, if you can wipe it off as soon as possible - the bite won't grow as big and swollen. HTH! Sharon
