Sherilyn's Quirks
My Sherilyn seems to have many quirks. Apart from her craze with cloth nappies, recently she developed another bizarre tendency of bringing an item with her to sleep. This item can be her bear bear, Elmo soft toy, Minnie Mouse soft toy, Hello Kitty purse, a book and yesterday, she brought 2 Mega blocks to bed and insisted to have the blocks put on her pillow. She seems to feel very secured when there's a toy next to her when she naps during the day or sleeps at night. Alycia didn't have this quirk when she was Sherilyn's age till now.
Anyone has toddlers with this strange behaviour too?

hehe mine oso got, but not sleep time :P
so cute. soft toys yes, but sleepin with mega blocks is funny.
it's anything they deem 'toy of the moment'... it may be replaced in no time :)
At least she's willing to sleep with her toys by her side. Mine will want us to be on either side when she falls asleep. She will hug on to our hands or legs till she falls asleep. That's the only time we can pry our lack-of-oxygen limbs from her.
Chloe is going thru' the same face now.. and she is almost 3.5 yrs old now.. ;)
My three-year-old has a similar quirk. She has been known to sleep with: a green pepper, a candle, books, or whatever toy of the day she might be interested in. I think it's just a comfort to have a favorite object around.
Sigrid
Sigrid... tks 4 visiting my blog.
Sherilyn also slept with her toy green pepper once.
Good luck 2 u in setting up ur new blog.
Jazzmint... what's faythe's quirks?
Sweetpea.. hopefully.
Leena... yup, damn fully & wierd. And so hard somemore & not at all cuddly, yet she doesnt mind.
Vien... Alycia is also like Belle. At one time, she cld only sleep if I held her hand every nite till my carpal tunnel syndrome came bk. Now, she still demands her hand to be held on & off, and only I can hold her hand, not even her daddy when it's bedtime.
Mamabok... chloe & sherilyn seem to hv many similarities hor?
Angie (4-year old) has similar behaviour. She sometimes like to bring her her toy or book or just a piece of paper with picture which I've just printed to sleep. She would arrange that particular item neatly next to her before she sleeps. There was once, she would just bring her blanket, and fold them neatly and next to her... It just keep changing ...
